crea8.one in ChatGPT
Add the crea8.one MCP server to ChatGPT, then ask it to schedule posts, check Stalker mentions, or edit your Link-in-Bio. Other clients are on the MCP page. A terminal agent uses crea8one-agent instead.
Add crea8.one to ChatGPT
Use ChatGPT on the web. OpenAI's current custom-server guide adds the server as a plugin. Authentication there is OAuth, no authentication, or a mix of the two. There is no Bearer header field in that flow, so an API key is placed in the server URL.
- Open ChatGPT Plugins.
- Select the plus button, then Add custom MCP server.
- Name: crea8.one. Server URL:
https://mcp.crea8.one/mcp. Authentication: OAuth. - Review the warning, select I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin.
- Install the plugin from your plugins list.
- In the prompt box, type
@and select crea8.one. You can also turn the plugin on for that chat from the app settings.
ChatGPT plugin, OAuth
Name: crea8.one
Server URL: https://mcp.crea8.one/mcp
Authentication: OAuthWorkspace permissions and security restrictions still apply, including Lockdown. Write actions ask you to confirm before they run. You can turn individual tools off from the plugin's details page, and refresh the plugin if the tool list changes.
Source: Add custom MCP server.
Use an API key instead of OAuth
Create the key at https://app.crea8.one, under developer / API settings. Add the plugin the same way, with authentication set to No authentication, and put the key in the path. That URL is a secret.
ChatGPT plugin, API key in the URL
Name: crea8.one
Server URL: https://mcp.crea8.one/mcp/YOUR_API_KEY
Authentication: No authenticationWhat to ask
Name crea8.one in the message so ChatGPT uses this plugin. You can ask it to:
- Schedule a social post, including when it should go out.
- Show what is already scheduled.
- Check Stalker for mention monitoring.
- Read or update your Link-in-Bio.
Scheduled posts stay in crea8.one after you close the chat. Confirm a write action before ChatGPT sends it.
ChatGPT and Codex
ChatGPT is the chat app, and this page is how it connects. Codex is the coding agent. It uses ~/.codex/config.toml and codex mcp add, documented on the MCP page. Both can use the same crea8.one account.
Questions
The plugin does not show up in a chat.
Install it from the plugins list after you create it, then type @ and select crea8.one. If you used OAuth, finish the sign-in ChatGPT opened. Refresh the plugin from its details page if the tool list is empty.
Can I paste the API key into the chat?
No. OAuth never needs the key. If you use a key, it belongs in the server URL you saved in the plugin, not in a message.
Does this need a separate ChatGPT connector listing?
No. You add the server yourself with the URL on this page. There is no directory install step.
